I decided to go with Zoya's Mischka again this week, so since it is a repeat I decided to do something a bit different for Pink Polish Wednesday!
I have started doing color wheels (just learning, be gentle!) - and wanted to show a few of my favorite pinks compared to each other...
Left to right:
- Butter London, Disco Biscuit
- Zoya, Gilda
- OPI, I'm All Ears
- Zoya, Kimber
Bags, babies, beauty, and whatever else crosses my mind...

Current Nail Polish Collection & Storage
It was requested that I share my current nail polish and how I store it in a You Tube video. I'm showing my collection in two videos, the first just a general overview - and the second video will be a more in-depth look at my Zoya collection, which is my favorite brand.

May Favorites!
Some of my favorite products from the month of May!
I'm so excited that I finally found a new vanity to meet my needs! It is the Hamilton desk from Target, I love the details on the sides and that it has one large drawer for extra storage and will be sharing a more in-depth look at my new vanity organization in a future blog post. I moved my handbag storage into my closet, so I am also re-doing my closet organization right now and found some great items at the Container Store to help with the organization. I'm loving the closet organizers in the Como print.
Other favorites of mine from the month of May include:
- Marc Jacobs "Daisy" perfume: I originally wasn't wild about this when I first purchased it back in the winter... but I'm loving it now that it is warmer out.
- Too Faced Natural Eye palette: Just as the name suggests... perfect natural daytime eye looks!
- Fairy Drops mascara: Fabulous volume that doesn't smudge and is long-lasting.
- Dior "St. Tropez" nail polish: Beautiful blue for spring.
- Butter London "Slapper": And electric teal color that is definitely a show stopper!
- Zoya "Reagan" & "Lara": Two beautiful pink polishes from the summer collection that are going to get a lot of wear!
Thanks again to Jen from myhousewifelife for the amazing gifts for being a finalist in her contest!

Pink, erhm... Blue Polish Wednesdays!
Well, I've done well the past few months ending up with a pink polish on my nails every Wednesday... This week gets a special exception though, because I just got the Butter London polish "Slapper", and couldn't wait to try it out! So this week's Wednesday is blue polish Wednesday and pink at heart... because even though it is blue, it is girly, fun, and flirty!
Slapper is a truly unique blue, with more of a green tint to it in real life than shows up in pictures. It is a deep teal and seems to me, to be a lovely all season blue! Well done, Butter London!

Pink polish Wednesdays... Butter London's Disco Biscuit!
For Pink Polish Wednesday, I thought it would be nice to share a swatch of Butter London's "Disco Biscuit" nail polish... the super pretty fuchsia pink with iridescent glitter color that is being given away in the Perfect Pedicure Giveaway!
It's very sheer, so I've found that three coats works best for me. I really love that it is a bright, unique pink - that still has a bit of sophistication to it... I've tried a few neon-ish pink nail polishes the past few months (to follow the neon trend this Spring) that I've been let down by, they were too bright, too childish, and looked too out of place. Butter London's Disco Biscuit has been the answer to finding a bright pink with lots of character, that is still appropriate for wearing out to lunch and errands!

Pink polish Wednesdays... Butter London!
I had been wearing Zoya's Julieanne at the beginning of the week (gorgeous purple color!)... but decided to change it up today to a pink for Pink Polish Wednesdays and also to try a nail polish that is going to be a part of my upcoming haul post. (I haven't done one of those ever, so I thought it would be fun to try & show you some of the new things I've gotten recently!)
Today's pink is Butter London's 'Fairy Lights' and it may be one of the most appropriate polish names I've ever seen! The instant I put it on, I thought to myself, "That reminds me of fairy wings for some reason." Ha! It is a nice foil polish that goes one smoothly and coats evenly (unlike 'No More Waity Katie', which I returned because of its blotchy application & got this color instead)... and the pink is a sparkly light pink that isn't too baby-ish.
It actually pops a bit more than I thought it was going to - thinking it would be a subtle color that would blend into my skin tone. I really like it though, it is a keeper for sure!
