Loving right now... Gorjana Jewelry!

While browsing through Shop Bop during their recent sale, I came across a number of jewelry items that I instantly fell in love with - and surprisingly, were all by the same designer! Gorjana makes gorgeous pieces that achieve being classic and original all at the same time, and every item I saw by the brand was appealing to me.

Here are some of my favorites:

The Bloom necklace is subtle and girly, I imagine this could become a favorite every day piece. Gold tone is not normally appealing to me in jewelry, but my eyes see the design before the color of the metal even registers... I like that in a piece of jewelry.

Gorjana Bloom Necklace, www.shopbop.com, $55

The Morocco ring necklace is in my favorite jewelry color (silver) and I love the ring detail, I see myself being deep in thought while rolling a ring up and down the necklace... definitely a great piece of jewelry for those more thoughtful days.

The Lovebird earrings are adorable and very well priced! You could buy a back up pair at this price!

I adore the leather wrap bracelet and this would be something very unusual to find in my jewelry armoire, but I like that it is subtle while it still feels fresh and on point with the leather wrap bracelet trend.

My absolute favorite pieces of jewelry that I found by Gorjana? These rose gold bangles... they are gorgeous and would look great with a Summer dress or cardigan in the Fall... these bangles might be something you could see in a future reveal from me!

Tory Burch Spring 2012 Must Haves!

It's no secret that I've been obsessed with Tory Burch lately, especially her popular Revas...

I would love to add a few fun Tory Burch accessories into my mix for Spring though, and I've pretty much been able to find something in every category on her website that I am wanting right now! Sunglasses are the next thing that I *need* to get, and these over-sized square sunglasses are my number one pick.

Tory Burch Over-sized Enamel Sunglasses, www.toryburch.com, $149

All of the shoes on my shopping wishlist right now are Tory Burch, but I think that these Love Pink Miller sandals just scream Summer. (And they scream 'buy me' as well!)

Tory Burch Miller Sandal in Love Pink, www.toryburch.com, $195

Tory Burch jewelry is exceptionally cute as well... I'm mainly a silver-toned gal, but I really like a number of the things that she has on her website even in gold tone! My top two jewelry picks are both silver-toned though...

Tory Burch Logo Earring, www.toryburch.com, $68

Tory Burch Mini Clover Necklace, www.toryburch.com, $98

And of course what would a seasonal wishlist be without at least one bag? (Or two?) I know it's not very bright... but I love this Robinson Satchel by Tory Burch - this would be an all seasons kind of bag for me.

Tory Burch Robinson Satchel, www.toryburch.com, $550

And on days when only a brighter color will do - I love this Amanda Hobo for a pop of Spring color!

Tory Burch Amanda Hobo, www.toryburch.com, $465
Now all I need is the lottery fairy to visit me... so I can get them all at one time!! Happy Spring!

My updated Spring 2012 wishlist...

I decided it was time to update the wishlist, with the things I'm currently stalking on the Net!

Makeup &Beauty

I've loved all of the perfumes that I've tried over the past few months, but other than finally getting a full sized Bond No. 9 perfume... I think I'm pretty complete on perfumes right now. I'm back to focusing on nail polish and have a few "must haves" that I'm eyeing at Dior.com!

Dior Metallic Silver polish, Dior.com, $23

Dior Graffiti Pink polish, Dior.com, $23

I'm also loving the OPI Muppet collection!
OPI Muppet Collection in Divine Swine, amazon.com, Prices vary.

Don't ask me how I stumbled upon the Bond No. 9 fragrance brand, but as soon as I saw the bottle for Madison Square Park I knew I had to track down a sample. As predicted when it comes to these things, I received the sample and really liked the scent as well. As soon as I can reconcile myself to the price... it will be mine. (It comes with jewelry, with the cute little green bracelet/brooch on top - so that has to count for something, right?)

www.saksfifthavenue.com, 1.7 oz. Bond No. 9 - Madison Square Park,  $180

Shoes

I'm totally obsessed with Tory Burch right now! I would love another pair of Revas and also a pair of pink Tory Burch sandals for Spring!

Tory Burch Reva in Royal Tan, toryburch.com, $195

Tory Burch Miller Sandal in Love Pink, toryburch.com, $195

Accessories

I went Tiffany & Co overboard for Christmas (which is never a bad thing!) - so my current Tiffany & co wishlist is fairly (well, relatively) short...

Tiffany & Co Notes earrings, tiffany.com, $125

www.tiffany.com, Daisy Key on Oval Chain, $300

I have a never ending handbag wishlist from Louis Vuitton... but here are the bags I'm currently stalking. (And deciding between.)

Louis Vuitton Alma, louisvuitton.com, $1550

Louis Vuitton Empreinte Artsy MM, louisvuitton.com, $2670

Louis Vuitton Damier Westminster GM, louisvuitton.com, $1260

My Happy 2011 present!! Tiffany & Co Elsa Peretti Curved Wedding Band!

I cannot believe I haven't posted about this yet!

I was so excited to receive a "Happy 2011" present at the end of December from my hubby. I mentioned in the past about the upgraded wedding ring that I've been wanting forever from Tiffany & Co... and I guess I finally wore him down enough about it - because hubby gave me the green light to go ahead and order it! I've been eyeing it for years, so I was super excited!

It was kind of a happy "5 year" anniversary (even though we were married 6 years this year - but we were kind of busy around the 5 year mark and it came & went...), along with "happy new baby", and just "happy year" to commemorate 2011 with his new job and all of that good stuff...

Here's what my set looked like before, I never felt like the plain 2mm platinum band suited my engagement ring, because of the gap under the trillion diamonds.

Without further ado, the Elsa Peretti platinum curved wedding band!

And with my engagement ring! (After it had been cleaned at the jewelry store!! Sorry its so dirty in the before pictures! I didn't realize it until I saw the pictures after it had been cleaned! Whew!)

I absolutely love it! This is definitely an upgrade that will last me a long time and I think it works as a great "frame" for my engagement ring! Love!

(Nail polish color on my nails is Zoya Pandora.)

Christmas present... Tiffany & Co Paloma Picasso Marrakesh pendant necklace

Hubby did good! He picked it out all by himself!

I had a little blue bag waiting under the tree for me (I admit, he sent me down to the store to get it... so I knew what I was getting - that doesn't take away from the excitement of blue bags though, ha) and will be more than happy if a little turquoise blue becomes a Christmas tradition. (Last year's gift was a three row heart ring.)

This year, hubby looked at the Tiffany & Co website all by himself and picked out his top choices. I have to admit, his number one pick was something that never would have caught my eye if I were picking out something for myself - but I love it! When I tried it on at the store, I knew it was perfect and that it was going home with me to be my Christmas present.

Sterling silver Paloma Picasso Marrakesh pendant necklace:

To be followed up in the next week or so with some additional blue box Christmas gifts that aren't here yet - can't wait to share!!

Beaded Necklace from 'Cassia de Shanghai'

My necklace from Cassia de Shanghai arrived, and it's gorgeous!

It's the "Hainan" style necklace, a beautiful turquoise dyed howlite beaded necklace on turquoise thread. It has subtle veining, that isn't even as apparent in real life as it appears in the with flash pictures. The clasp is just gorgeous, with little flower details - and the little pouches they come in are such a fantastic finishing touch!

I'm thinking about ordering something in a pink color tone next, either the "Something Pink", "Peach", or "Chinese Rose" styles. If you get a chance to check out their website, let me know which one you think would go best with my complexion! Also, you can visit their Facebook page HERE.

I love the simple elegance of a beaded necklace! I'm thinking they might become my go-to items for dressing up my maternity wardrobe!

(I purchased this product on my own and am doing an independent review of the item. Reviewer has received no compensation for writing this review.)

Green is good!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I have to remind myself how great green really is sometimes... Green is a fun color. I don't particularly wear a lot of it or even prefer it for jewelry. (Even though my birthstone is Emerald.) What I love most about it though, is how versatile it can be... take one shade and it's whimsical and fun, and yet another is subtle sophistication.

Perhaps you're not ready to commit to a piece of clothing for this St. Patrick's Day, well then surely a green accessory would do the trick!

I love this large pouch from Comme des Garcons, it can do the business of holding all of your essentials - while still have a light, festive feel to it. This would be the ultimate St. Patrick's Day clutch, but you'd have to LOVE green, for it to have year round longevity...
Tobi.com - Commes des Garcons Large Pouch, $138

However, something like this 'Cool Art' wrap by Diane von Furstenberg would be useful long after all of the four leaf clover decorations were put away...
Nordstrom.com - Diane von Furstenberg Cool Art Wrap Scarf, $165

When I really do get down to the business of thinking green though... I do think jewelry. Emerald is the first thing that comes to mind, if I were to associate one thing with the word green. So what better than to have your touch of St. Patty's Day green in a gorgeous pair of earrings?
BlueNile.com - Emerald and Diamond Filigree Earrings, $650
And I would also have the necklace to match, because the pieces are stunning enough to wear separately - but such a beautiful style that you want both...
BlueNile.com - Emerald and Diamond Filigree Necklace, $570
And even though these shoes look distinctly brown or dark khaki line on the computer screen, their technical color name is "Military Green" - so we'll let them slide, as they look like such a beautiful, yet comfortable heel for Spring:
Zappos.com - Miss Sixty Sydney, $92.50 on sale

Have a Happy St. Patrick's Day, and may the luck of the Irish be with you!
